Egypt, with vast swaths of desert in its east and west and the rich Nile River Valley at its heart, is site to one of the world’s earliest and greatest civilizations. Its location at the northeast corner of Africa bordering the Mediterranean Sea has made it a cultural and trading center.

The country enjoys a great deal of natural beauty and beautiful coastal lines in the Red Sea and many of the world’s enchanting cities. Unfortuantely, Egypt has many problems in different fields like: Booming birth rates, Tourism, Environment, Governmental Routines, Low water level, Education, Poverty, Unemployment, Corruption, Traffic congestion, Inequality and Others!

Can you make an Application to partially solve any problem you see in our lovely Egypt? The hackathon will take place on the 12th of September. winners will get prizes up to 10,000 EGP.

For entrepreneurs, this will be a great opportunity to help them get started. Additionally, this opportunity did not just enable startups to take part in taking positive steps towards solving their country’s most critical challenges. It’s also supposed to raise international awareness towards Egypt’s developer community! Not just that, if you showed a high coding skill during competition, your CV will be shown to many HR recruiter in many companies in Egypt!
